Your Information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what WeldBooker collects, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you.
Effective October 2, 2026
Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email, role, password hash, company name, service area, and profile information. Job records may include descriptions, locations, photos, schedules, quotes, messages, reviews, and completion or dispute records. Welders may provide certifications, insurance documents, and payout-onboarding status.
Payments
Stripe processes payment and payout information. WeldBooker stores transaction identifiers, amounts, fee allocations, payment state, refund state, and payout state, but does not store full payment-card or bank-account numbers.
Device and usage data
We receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser, device type, requested pages, timestamps, security events, and performance analytics. We use cookies necessary for sign-in and session security. Aggregate analytics help us understand reliability and improve the product.
How information is used
We use information to provide matching, quotes, scheduling, protected messaging, payments, support, safety review, fraud prevention, notifications, account recovery, legal compliance, dispute handling, and service improvement. We do not sell personal information.
Automated photo analysis
When you upload job photos, WeldBooker may use an artificial-intelligence service provider to analyze those photos and related job details. This helps organize the scope and generate preliminary suggestions for likely materials, equipment, site preparation, risks, and follow-up questions. These suggestions are not engineering advice, a final bill of materials, or a substitute for an on-site assessment by a qualified welder.
How information is shared
Relevant job and profile information is shared with the customer or welder involved in a marketplace interaction. Service providers—including hosting, database, email, analytics, and payment vendors—process information under their own contractual and security obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the platform, or as part of a corporate transaction.
Retention and security
We retain account and transaction records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or financial obligations. We use access controls, encrypted transport, password hashing, signed sessions, rate limits, audit records, and restricted administrative tools. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update profile data through your account and may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing admin@weldbooker.com. Some records must be retained for fraud, transaction, dispute, tax, or legal reasons. Transactional messages necessary to an active account or job cannot always be disabled.
Children and changes
WeldBooker is not intended for anyone under 18. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date identifies the current version. Questions and privacy requests should be sent to admin@weldbooker.com.
